Living Well

We all want to live well, and there are all sorts of authorities ready to tell you how to achieve your best life, but what does that really mean?

I am not an authority, and I do not claim to have all the answers — not even close, but I am someone who has received much support from wonderful family, friends, coaches, mentors and teachers, some of whom are literally out of this world. They have made such a difference in my life that it gives me great satisfaction and happiness to pass along the things I’ve learned and experienced¬† in hopes of impacting other lives in a way that eases tension, dispels sadness, and encourages feeling good about life and life’s possibilities.

Only you can decide what your best life is, but there are a few wise ideas that have proven to yield positive results for those who are aware of them and put them into practice.¬† To succeed in being a happy person is to be true to your self in the fullest sense of that word. Who are you and what fulfills your core being? I don’t mean the superficial stuff like having a lot of material things, or winning the approval of others by conforming to what they believe in or behaving as they prescribe, but the sheer joy in sincere expression and use of of your potential according to your strengths. Therein lies your power and greatest satisfaction.

If you want to be happy and successful at what you love, you’ll do best to know yourself well and to center your life around whatever work and interactions with others allow you to give of your talents and make a positive impact on those around you.
